From a Tea Mother Seed to loose tea and tea servers. Follow the steps in order and answer the yellow questions. Recipes come from the crafting master workbook, and prices are cost-to-make figures from the beYou Cost to Make workbook (as of Oct 13, 2026).
Black, Green, White and Oolong tea all follow the same steps with the same recipes. Only the seed and the variety names change.
Keep working your levels and come back once you meet both.
Cultivators craft Black, Green, White and Oolong Tea Mother Seeds and sell them on the markets.
Cost to make: L$17.25 (Black) · L$16.84 (others)Every tea seed recipe uses beYou Black Tea, which is grown from a regular seed. It isn't the same item as the pressed Black Tea you make in step 5.
Tea pots need 12 Stoothies and 5 Potters Soil. Agave and Tobacco pots need no Stoothies and only 3 Potters Soil. Match the pot to the seed: a Black Tea pot takes a Black Tea seed.
The pot arrives as a gift on your beYou profile. Collect it, rez it in-world and set it up before loading.
The pot picks one variety of that tea at random and adds a seed for it to your account. A Green Tea pot always gives a Green Tea variety.
All 20 cuts are the variety the pot picked. Each tea has 15 varieties:
20 cuts → 20 dried. Shredding takes 15, so 5 dried are left over → 20 shredded → 2 press batches → 40 pressed tea. Save the 5 leftover dried from each harvest. Three harvests' leftovers make one more shred batch.
Every pressed variety has 3 loose tea blends of its own (180 in all). For example, Assam Golden Tip Black Tea makes Golden Tip Assam, Dublin Morning or Spice Market Chai. Each blend takes:
Tea Bag (Level 0) is made at the Cutting Desk I: 2 Cut Fabric Kit, 2 each Hemp, Olivica and Rice Paper, 5 each Nipple Wax, Pie Crumbs and Sticky Fingers, 1 Textiles Scissors, 10 Power and 10 Stamina. Makes 15.
Each of the 180 blends also has a matching [Blend] Iced Tea Pitcher. All 180 use the same recipe, and none of them contain tea, so you can make any flavor's pitcher without growing anything:
Pitchers are Level 1, while Loose Tea and Tea Servers are Level 2. That makes pitchers the way into the tea line for Culinary crafters before they can brew. No other recipe uses a pitcher, so it's a finished item.
Unlike agave, every tea variety has its own loose tea blends. Whatever the pot picks, you can take it all the way to a Tea Server without trading.
Yes, but only on Enriched Soil. All new higher-level crops will grow there.
